Fall and Holidays blog

Happiest of Holidays to our fans, friends, and family! Seems like the year is just flying by, right? Here at the Pictures Band World Headquarters, we’re just thrilled with the quality and variety of the shows that we get to perform and the truly stellar events that we are blessed and honored to be a part of. We’ve had an amazing fall season - great weddings at: the Corpus Christi Art Museum with Senator Todd Hunter family, the Oaks at Heavenly in Helotes for Desiree Yanes, the Luckenbach Town Center (Lovely Bride Cheryl Woolf and her new husband Shawn, Marco did an exceptional job coordinating), and the Austin Country Club with Paul Rogge family just last Saturday night! Special mention goes out to our new friends Mr. and Mrs. Diego and Marisa Palacios in Dallas, who not only threw a fairytale wedding at Brook Hollow Country Club, but Marisa sang an aria from Phantom of the Opera and totally killed it!! Also, kudos to our “Forever Tag Team Champions”, the new Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell and Ashley Blumka from Houston with a memorable wedding at Congregation Beth Yeshurun! Most especially, we want to thank Susan, Rick and the entire Ashcroft family, for whom we’ve played several of their daughter’s weddings now and this most recent reception for their daughter Hannah and her new husband Jason. They were married in Marfa, Tx on Oct. 26 and had a spectacular reception and party at the Hotel St. George. Natalie from Belle of the Ball Events did a phenomenal job and we just can’t say enough about this lovely bunch; they feel like a part of our own family! Shout-outs to the Hotel St. George as well for really rising to this occasion with 5-star service! In other gig news, we’ve had the pleasure of performing at the brand-new Vista Oaks in Fredericksburg for a Memorial Hospital charity function that raised a record amount of money for a wonderful cause and the 2019 Tyler Rose Festival Past Presidents party where over 1000 people honored the new Rose Queen, Hanna Claire. It feels like that’s enough for a whole season, right?!? But no!! We’re just getting into the Holiday season with tons of corporate events, private parties and weddings between now and New Year 2020. We’ll be seeing you in all the old familiar places like Austin, Houston, Ft. Worth, Odessa and Tyler, Tx for our big New Years' Eve gala fundraiser bash, so get your tickets while they are available. That doesn’t even include this coming week which will include a deluxe fundraiser at the Austin Country Club on Thursday (shout out to Amy Kennedy! You rock, Amy!), a giant party at Dallas Baptist University on Friday and we even had to sign an NDA for the holiday party NOV 23! Okay, gotta go start getting ready for the craziness - all the love from The Pictures Band; See you soon!!!
